DJ SPINN was born and raised in Lynwood, California. His experience as a DJ began at 8 years old during the 80’s when Break dancing, Hip Hop music, and DJ’s were prominent on the scene in the East and West coast. His earliest experience with mixing was at house parties which eventually evolved to professional work on commercial radio on KDAY which was a Urban based radio station that catered to the hip hop culture in Los Angeles. Through certain contacts, a mixed demo, and affiliations with established DJ’s he was able to get in the DJ rotation one day out the week for a month duration.
